‘A Life in Harmony’

We gathered over 14,00lbs of clothing and 3 vanloads of other items.  For example, toys, food, tarps, diapers, etc – in addition, we collected approximately $650.00 in donations and gift cards.   All items were donated to Union Gospel Mission – everything was directly given to individuals on the streets versus being resold.

A Humanitarian Award and a letter for the President of the organization was presented to both myself, Parys Liu and K.A.R.E. “for caring for the hungry, hurting and homeless in a very large school assembly at Tecumseh Elementary.  In addition Tecumseh was awarded a special plaque for their exceptional work aiding individuals in need.
