Sister, daughter, family, needs, protection
Child of God
Sister of pain
Friend of understanding
Lover of compassion, determination and courage
Who feels sad because things changed when you hurt my brother & took our choice
Who will find happiness when the war is over
Who feels invisible when people point, stare and act mean
Who gave my childhood innocence
Who fears no one cares, the sudden mood swings and that life will never be the same
Who hates those who hurt my family & walked away without an apology, leaving us crying in pain
Who would like to turn back the hands of time
Who remembers when…
Who is forced to wear a shield to cover my inner pain as I pick up the pieces that are left behind
Resident of the house of HOPE
